my father
When I was young my father would kiss me every night and sing to me as I awoke. He made me feel so special. I knew that my father loved me. It made me feel strong enough to do almost everything.
He got sick, but strength(力氣) kept him alive. He loved me so much. He gave up years of his life caring for me, his own son, who was still a little boy. Day and night he struggled(努力) for years with my study and life,Despite disease of his own, he still stood by my side caring for me and comforting me until I was more healthy and happy.
A few years have passed, and the life has changed a lot. But the love for my father won’t change and it will never end.I love my father forever!
My Father
Everyone has a father. My father is of middle height. He is stout and severe looking, with keen expressive eyes. On first sight you may feel he is hard to approach. In fact he is very kind and considerate. Appearance is often misleading, so judge not by appearance.
I believe my father is a talented man. He is decisive and efficient in doing things. By his own talents and efforts, he has secured for the family a good soclal position and a comparatively rich life. People of all fields come to my house and, as a result, I gain lots of hard-earned social experiences and see more joys and sorrows of the world.
But at home, he is a harsh parent. He has high expectations of me. When I am lazy and idling away my time, I can see that it hurts him deeply. When I am doing something great, such as writing a book, he is more than excited. With such a father I am always reminded to go on and on, never give up.
Parents are the ones who brought us into this world, nurtured us, and helped us become who we are today. We should be grateful for their love and sacrifices. They work hard to provide for us, guide us through life's challenges, and support us in our dreams. It's important to express our gratitude to them, to say "thank you" and show our appreciation through our words and actions. Let's cherish our parents, honor them, and make them proud.

Nowadays, there is often a lack of understanding between parents and children. Children always complain that their parents are out of date, while parents can’t approve of what their children say and do.
Thus, a big generation gap is formed.
The gap remains wide for many reasons. Children want to be free to choose their own friends, select their own classes in school, plan their own future, earn and spend their own money, and generally run their own life in a more independent way than many parents allow.
Also, young children wish to be understood by their parents, but most parents don’t quite understand their children.
They regard it as their responsibility to teach their offspring traditional beliefs. They want them to be obedient and do well in school.
Therefore, misunderstanding often arise from parents’ tendency to interfere in children’s daily activities.
In my opinion, most problems between parents and children could be solved by joint efforts of both sides to enhance mutual understanding.

My parents
My parents are very kind and helpful. They cook meals and wash clothes for me every day. At the weekend, they often prepare some of my favorite food. Sometimes they also help me with my lessons. They are very strict with me, but when I make a mistake, they first listen to me and then have a talk with me instead of just complaining about it. They always try to understand me.
